On A Cyborg Planet was a step away from the Phoenix brothers but a continuation of On a Rogue Planet so it was fun to return to Centax and see these wonderful cyborgs. Because Axton has less enhancements he feels all his emotions and is very open about them. So much so that he's struggling with the feeling of uselessness that he's experienced since his kidnapping and torture. Axton is desperate to restore peace and hope to his planet and this comes through clearly in all his actions.Xenia, on the other hand, has many enhancement and shouldn't feel emotions, but the dampening filters have never worked on her. Keeping her emotions a secret has taken a toll on Xenia and she has to learn to accept that emotions can make her stronger. I really loved reading about Xenia learning to embrace her emotions and Axton was great when it came to supporting her. The love between Axton and Xenia is very fast in this book since it's less than 100 pages, however, much of it is built on the idea that they've been attracted to each other for awhile.
I'd love to have more books on the Centaxians, especially considering the statements Xander makes in the end about working with the scientists to prevent enhancements from dampening emotions.

Trying not to spoil the story. Xenia is a Can Sec and is second in command. She ad the Prime are on a mission to locate an artifact. His mission is much different than hers and he plans to win by all means possible. Short and sweet.
I enjoyed Axton and Xenia's story but I wish it had been longer. I would have liked a little more character development and to learn more about Axton's captivity. Still, an excellent series.
Cyborg planets with cyborgs are pretty interesting. I liked Axton and Xenia and enjoyed their story.
While this is more like an extended Phoenix family adeventure it does continue the story that began
in "On a Rogue Planet", which I was delighted to read. Great story.
Summer Down Under has just gotten hotter thanks to Anna Hackett's new book. Looks like I have a new favourite. *puts Axton & Xenia on top list*
For a novella, I lost count how many times I swooned (giggles). I couldn't put it down I had to finish the book! Anna Hackett's book couple gets a notch hotter each new book release.
And the book cover is gorgeous. Font & layout Brilliant. So very sexy sci-fi romance sans cheesiness you see from other SFR books. Yes, I'm someone who easily gets drawn to book covers.
In a nutshell, "On a Cyborg Planet" novella beautifully written, action packed and brilliant book cover design to boot.
On a cyborg planet, is a fantastic bridging to this series and their continuing storyline. Anna leads you through her imaginative characters and their struggles,desperate situations inside and outside of their domains. As I have continued reading about her characters and storylines, they enjoyment is a constant reminder of her charismatic,talented,sensitive and sensual creativity in her ability to weave such a wonderful writing. ABSOLUTELY LOVE,I RECOMMEND YOU PICK UP AND SIT DOWN FOR A WONDERFUL TIME READING!!🔰😍🔟🔟🔟🔟🔟🔟😍😍😍😍😍
Some day I'm going to go back and read this series in the proper order. Because I like these treasure hunters (whether they're cyborgs or Phoenixes or whatnot) and I'm so SO down with indulging in a nice, long reread.
But seriously. Sexy treasure hunters in space. What's not to like? Whether they're gallivanting from dangerous planet to shady space port or uncovering heretofore undiscovered treasures on their own planet, they got it going on.
Xenia and Axton are no slouches when it comes to holding their own against the booby traps the invaders left behind on Centax. Given that they're also fighting their attraction for one another, this is especially impressive.
I'm smitten with this series. For real. It doesn't matter where they end up or how dangerous it gets, I'm all in

Love Anna's books! I've read some from all her series, and there isn't a boring recipe to be found. The story unravels around the hero/heroine of the moment. And they don't leave you wanting, except maybe the next book.
Being a cyborg with feelings is a difficult thing. Hiding those feelings becomes very difficult when the man you fancy is in danger. When you are the leader and the woman you like very much, is in charge of the investigation, you sometimes have to grab the bull by the horns and force the situation a bit, to get her to own up on her feelings. Even if it takes you through death traps, fire balls, and cooking for her.
