I really enjoyed the different characters in this story. They all were so different and brought the story together. A book with children, which always puts a smile on my face, a little sass and a little hardheadedness goes a long way in making a really fun read.
This was a very good love story. Love the time period the story was based on. Look forward to reading more by this author.
Trew Wakefield and her husband are attacked by Indians. The Indians kill Archie and take her son but they leave her where she is. Brand comes across the woman and he rescues her. He even will hire her for the schoolteacher job if she wants. But what will happen when the very real religious and proper Trew realizes she was rescued by a man that runs a saloon and whorehouse. A recipe for trouble for sure. And is there any way the man can help find her son. This was a real entertaining historical romance novel set in the Wild West.
This book is a wonderful read. Brand and Trew are a nice couple and meant for each other, but unforeseen things keep happening to keep them apart. I encourage readers to read this book.
This was a very good book. He found her after an Indian attack and took her to his town. She was very much a lady and he owned a saloon and furnished lady's for the men's pleasure. It is well worth reading.
